An automation sends the right email at the right time without you lifting a finger. Once it is set up, CRMit watches for a trigger, such as a new customer being added, and sends your chosen emails automatically. Here is how to set one up.
From the CRMit menu, select Email Marketing, then open the Automations area to see your active journeys.
Start a new automation and give it a clear name that describes what it does, such as a welcome sequence for new customers.
Pick the event that starts the automation. This is the thing that happens in CRMit, such as a customer being added, that tells the automation to begin.
Add the emails you want to send and set the timing between them, for example a welcome email straight away and a follow-up a few days later.
When you are happy with the flow, turn the automation on. From then on it runs by itself whenever the trigger happens.
Tip: A welcome email is a great first automation. It reaches every new customer at exactly the right moment and needs almost no upkeep once it is running.
