How to sell a gift voucher

Gift vouchers are a simple way to bring in money now and new customers later. In CRMit you create a voucher for the amount, take payment, send it to the recipient and redeem it against a future sale. Here is how it works.

1. Open Gift Voucher

   From the CRMit menu on the left, open Gift Voucher. This is where you create and manage the gift vouchers you sell.

2. Create a voucher for the amount

   Create a new gift voucher for the amount the customer wants to buy, for example a fixed value to spend with you.

3. Take payment

   Take payment for the voucher just as you would for any sale. Once paid, the voucher is live and ready to use.

4. Send it to the recipient

   Send the voucher to the person receiving it, so they have the details they need to redeem it.

5. Redeem it against a future sale

   When the recipient comes to spend it, apply the voucher against their sale so its value comes off the total.
