Contacts are the individual people you deal with at a customer. Adding them keeps names, emails and phone numbers in one place, and makes sure invoices reach the right person. Here is how to add one.
From the CRMit menu open Contacts. You can also open a customer and use Add Contact to link a person to them directly.
Click Create Contact to open a blank contact form.
Enter the first name and last name (both required). You can also add a photo, notes and a job title such as Managing Director.
Choose the customer this person belongs to so the contact shows up on that customer's record.
Add one or more email addresses and phone numbers. Tick Invoice To or Invoice CC on an email if that person should receive invoices, and set a default for each type.
Click Save. The contact now appears in the customer's contact list.
Tip: Mark the right person as Invoice To so billing emails always reach the person who pays.
With your contact saved, here are a few related things you might want to set up.
