A job is a piece of work you carry out for a customer. You can assign your team, break it into tasks, track it through to completion and then invoice it. Here is how to set one up.
From the CRMit menu open Jobs, then click Create Job. This opens a blank job for you to fill in.
Give the job a title (required) and description, choose the customer (required), and set the site location, contact person, customer reference, job status, job type and priority.
Assign the job to one or more staff members. For mobile work you can add a vehicle, and if the work repeats you can set a recurring schedule.
Break the job into tasks. Each task can have its own title, assignee, due date and status so nothing gets missed.
Click Save. The job now appears in your jobs list and on the calendar.
When the work is done, mark the job complete and turn it into an invoice. You can find any unbilled work under Uninvoiced Jobs.
Tip: Use job status and priority to keep your team focused on what matters, and link a contract item if the work is covered by an existing contract.
With the job scheduled, here are a few related things you might want to set up.
